First most exciting event of the weekend: The Husbanator arrived back in the ATL from a two-week long biz trip. Need a newlywed explain more? I made him a tasty meal of Northern Italian Stuffed Shells courtesy of my friend Leslie. I morphed her recipe a bit by stuffing the shells with a mixture of spinach, lean ground turkey breast and sausage for tons of flavor. Since I don't want to completely steal her thunder, I'm hoping Les will post the recipe on her site so she can take full credit for her culinary genius. Second most exciting event of the weekend: Seeing the new Jason Bourne flick. Mr. Soup & I decided to hit up the matinee this morning (yes, morning... we were that excited) at Atlantic Station. Atlantic Station is a fun new area in Atlanta, with lots of shiny new shops (West Elm and Ikea, yay!) and some good looking restaurants. Side note, I did have drinks at the very uptownish Dolce a few weeks ago, as well as popped my head into sushi's Geisha House. Both are owned by the same group in Atlantic Station, and I'd like to return to each. Anyway, back on topic... I give The Bourne Ultimatum 4 stars. Being that this is my first mention of a movie on Blog Soup, I don't want you to think that I'm a Quick Draw McGraw when it comes to doling out the stars. I'm a picky moviegoer, so much that the Mr. and I rarely even go to the movies. I'd much rather chill on the couch and pop a Netflix than actually go to the theater. But there was no way we were going to miss the opening weekend of Bourne. And let me tell you folks, it did not disappoint. I won't give any spoilers here, but I will advise you to brush up on Bourne's Identity and Supremacy and get ready for 2 hours of pure entertainment. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Matt Damon is easy on the eyes... or a "good actor" as I like to tell the Mister.

3 Say It Loud & Proud:
Thanks for stopping by!
I too enjoyed the movie! I jumped out of my seat a few times, full of action. The theater was packed and I mean packed!
I'm excited to see it. Can you believe Dan's never seen any of the Bourne movies? I just bought the first two DVD's for him, so he can brush up before we go see it. Glad you liked it!
Oh I'm looking forward to seeing it. He's so tough in the Bourne movies. Haha- "He's so good in these movies! I mean, I know lots of people think he's cute, I just think he's SUCH a good actor."
