Hi, Leslie, it's me, Sarah's Mom! I visited your blog recently but didn't have time to write. Now I can't find the one I read that I wanted to respond to!
So here goes: I loved reading about your observation about really long pants on women. I've been thinking about this. I think I know why I do it, and maybe others, too.
After a long day with pointy high heels, I switch into my clogs to run into the grocery store on my way home. I know I look just like one of those women you were blogging about. But, actually, I do wear the right shoes at work! Really! I know the rules! I just don't care at 5 p.m. on the way home!
Now, maybe this doesn't explain them all, and I agree, it's ugly to wear your pants either too short or too long, but I'm thinking it explains most. I sure hope it does, don't you!

So hideous.
Hideous. Scary. And the funniest thing I've seen all day.
You know, you can buy those tables at the River Market during the Farmer's Market. I've seen them in the Steamboat of Arabia building.
