Restaurant Snippets

Taurus provides for a stylish business lunch. Located in Brookwood, right on the cusp of Buckhead and Midtown, Taurus was voted best new restaurant by Jezebel Magazine in 2005. Personally, I've had the seared trout and the grilled cheese on brioche. Both were above average and competitively priced. Service gets a B.

Everybody's Pizza is that neighborhood sweet spot that just fits when you need a chill night with your husband to enjoy pizza and a beer. Conveniently, we could practically walk there... but as my blogging friend Leslie says, this is Atlanta. Plus it is 100+ degrees outside. Come to think of it, that's great because Park Tavern is offering $1 drafts each day Accuweather forecasts the heat index to be over 100. Looks like I'll be drinking lots of value priced beer until Mutha Nature decides to chill the F out. Anyway, Everybody's was fantastic. We enjoyed the spinach dip with breadsticks, white pizza (seems to be popular in the South?) and also the Buffalo Chicken Pizza Crisp, which was tres fab. When it comes to pizza, it's all about the crust for me. So much that the toppings barely matter. The pizza crisp crust was divine -- we will definitely return. In other news, Midtown Restaurant Week starts on Sunday! WOOT! I have reservations at South City Kitchen, Ecco and Repast. It's going to be a good week.

Have fun! I was at Everybody's last week. Love the salad. Have a great time trying the restaurants. Let me know what you think of them.
